Once upon a time, I had this terrible boyfriend who tried to get me to become best friends with a girl he cheated on me with. While that didn't happen, their friendship thrived, and some time after I broke up with the terrible boyfriend, he told me that the two of them had a special nickname for me, a nickname that captured my flightiness, my lack of attention, and how I was always excited about things that had just occurred to me.

My feelings were hurt.

But you know what, now that I'm older, and with knowledge of my ADHD, it's a name I embrace. I feel no shame for observing, for paying attention, for seeking joy and passion wherever I might find it.

So this what this is. The Notes and Findings of an Epiphany Girl's Search for a Life That Isn't Shallow and Doesn't Suck.

I am mostly a fiction writer, but I also write other things and am into music, food, crochet, movies, animals, and I can easily get nerdy about so much else. I can't promise what you'll find here, but I can promise to be excited and to provide insights that come from being interested and super into all the things!
